As I anxiously await my third season of golf, I feel like I am ready to take the leap and Break 100. However, I have one roadblock that stands in the way of sure-fire improvement: Winter.
I live in Chicago and living where I do in the upper Midwest does not translate to a smooth, robust improvement curve. It acts more like the stock market graphs you see with seasonal upswings followed by valley-like lows. You see, we only really have 5 or 6 months of weather that is warm enough to allow a full game of golf.
To my way of thinking this means that I am at a significant disadvantage when it comes to honing my golf game to make it to my full potential. For every 12 months of real time play, a person in living near the Gulf coast will have had the opportunity to play 24 months. This year however, I am ready to ensure that I am improving my game and consistency.
So, I have in the process of improving my game:
1. Developed my own beginner golf tips website at http://yourbestgolftonight.com to record all of my best “golf swing” discoveries;
2. Read even more golf e-books to help me learn how to improve for less money;
3. Promised to practice at least once a week to ensure that my ball striking consistency doesn’t go away.
So I went to Google and looked for the term ‘golf domes in Cook County’. I determined that there are about three or so located in Cook County with the closest being about 10 miles away. Now who has the competitive advantage, huh? Take that!
Anyhow, the best beginner golf tips that made sense to me and that I believe really helped me improve my game say that anytime you practice hitting golf balls at a driving range, you should always have a target in mind.
This is tricky given that most golf domes are not much longer than 100 yards in length. One of the domes I have visited has sort of solved that problem, especially when you swing the longest clubs in your golf bag.
White Pines Golf Dome in Bensenville IL has a very cool setup in that they have bulls-eye targets at different heights along the back wall as well as simulated greens and obstacles. It doesn’t hurt that White Pines is going to be a balmy 72 degrees on our worst winter days, either! Fantastic!
If I am going to meet my goal of consistently playing in the 90’s this summer, I know that I have to not only maintain my game during the off season but I also have to markedly improve in a few key areas. I love the fact that I live near places that will allow me to get the practice that I need for cheap with relative comfort!
Yeah, I’ll definitely take that instead of wearing a hole in my living room carpeting anyday.

Basics If you want to produce better golf shots, you must first understand the concept of the basic swing. Golf Swing shape since the ball is at your side, the swing will be circular in shape. Golf Swing Posture and Position to send the ball to your target, you first aim the face of the club at the target. You are correctly orientated to begin the perfect golf swing. The left foot is slightly open as this makes it easier for the body to follow through the golf swing. And that is how to perform the perfect Golf swing. If you want to know how to carry out a golf swing or are looking for ways to improve your golfing perf. Watch this detailed overview of golf posture, positioning, and aim. This turning back and through is called the pivot and it serves as the motor for the golf swing.
The proper stance will allow perfect balance and poise throughout the swing. The right foot should be placed straight forward from the body, at a right angle to the line of flight, so that when you swing the weight will come on the inside of the foot to be able to push away and do the follow through. The left foot is slightly open as this makes it easier for the body to follow through the golf swing. This position will make your arms hang comfortably in front of your body, to be able to swing more freely. Now we have the correct orientation, grip and stance we are ready to finally perform the swing. This movement can be an important part of the swing as it will ensure that your weight is evenly distributed on the feet. The backswing now starts with the initial rotation – shoulders, hips, hands and arms – an almost simultaneous movement. The downswing begins by pushing your weight from right to left and rotating the body and hips. The motion should be unbroken from the start of the downswing to the finish of the follow through. In fact, the whole swing from start to finish should be one unbroken movement. Remember it is a swing and not a hit. And that is how to perform the perfect Golf swing.
It is better to think of the fast action when you start to swing and then think about the ball and back swing works from the top down ,your arms and shoulders turn, and your hip and legs follow.on the, downswing let gravity do the work.Make sure always concentrate o the ball.Golf is not simple game it needs lot of patients and focus to make it right.

Who doesn’t want to pound the golf ball 300-plus yards? We see PGA Tour players all the time ripping it down the middle of the fairway, and we would all love to do it too.
Take a look at the long drive champions pounding it well over 400 yards. Amazing if you ask me.
How do they do it? Everyone’s got an opinion on that question, but lets take a look at one part of the equation. The shoulder turn is an integral part of what allows these guys to crank on their drivers.
Take a look at Tiger, Phil, or Vijay on tour. Watch what they do with their driver on the backswing.
All these guys take a monster of a shoulder turn, coiling their bodies, and just waiting to unload it on the downswing.
This allows them to flat out rip the golf ball off the tee!
So how can the amateur emulate such a swing, increasing the distance of their drives, and feeling pretty good about themselves and their game?
There are two concepts to focus on:
§ Increases in distance are related to increased Clubhead Speed.
§ Clubhead speed is contingent upon Developing more Power in Your Golf Swing.
Developing more power in your swing is directly related too:
1. Your Golf Swing Mechanics
2. Your Body
Efficient golf swing mechanics will allow for the greatest amount of power to be transferred to your clubhead.
The generation of this power lies within your body.
It is your body swinging the golf club, not the other way around. Your body develops the power that is transferred into clubhead speed during the swing.
In order to develop more power in your swing you must develop more;
§ Flexibility
§ Strength
§ Endurance
§ Power
Improving in all of these areas will translate it into a much more powerful and athletic golf swing (if they are efficient), and end up with more clubhead speed.
Like I said, a little more complex than first thought, but very doable.
Developing more power in your golf swing begins with your flexibility. Increasing your flexibility will improve your power.
This is where the idea of a larger shoulder turn comes into play. Increasing your flexibility allows you to take a larger shoulder turn.
A bigger shoulder turn (resulting from your improved flexibility) allows the body to coil more, store more energy, and translate it into clubhead speed.
Increasing your shoulder turn is a result of improving your flexibility. In the bigger picture flexibility adds to your entire swing.
In addition to an increased shoulder turn, improving your flexibility allows you to take the golf club through a larger range of motion.
Why is this relevant too more power in your golf swing?
It becomes a simple equation in physics.
If you are able to draw the club through a larger range of motion in an efficient manner, the ability to generate more power will be available.
Simple!
Next question; how do you develop more flexibility relative to your golf swing?
Golf Specific Flexibility Exercises are the Answer!
Golf specific flexibility exercises develop your flexibility around the golf swing.
This will enhance your ability of your body to take the golf club through a greater range of motion, and take a bigger shoulder turn allowing you to generate PGA Tour like clubhead speed.
Now understand, developing flexibility for golf is not simply performing a toe touch stretch. That is not going to get it done.
You must develop flexibility in the areas of the body that are integral in swinging the golf club.
In addition, you must develop flexibility through the ranges of motion that are required for the golf swing.
These are the reasons it is necessary to use;
Golf Specific Flexibility Exercises
Golf specific flexibility exercises develop your body around the golf swing. Focusing on the muscles incorporated in the golf swing. Developing the ranges of motion required of the golf swing. Improving the shoulder turn in your swing, and increasing the power in your golf swing. Take a look at Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, and Vijay Singh. They will all show you the same in their golf swings. Flexibility and a full shoulder turn are needed to develop power.

A full golf swing is the desire of every golfer. You know that a full golf swing is needed to produce maximum clubhead speed and ultimately distance…but do you know how to accomplish it effectively?
You’ve probably heard your golf teaching pro say, “you’re not getting a full golf swing”, but has he told you how to get it? It’s easy to analyze, but much harder to come up with a solution…until now.
You see…a full golf swing is impossible to achieve if you do not have a higher level of golf-specific strength and flexibility. Let me say that one more time.
“A full golf swing is impossible to achieve if you do not have a higher level of golf specific strength and flexibility”.
Let’s look at these so-called “requirements”, for you to see I’m not just blowing smoke.
A full golf swing is considered a 90 degree shoulder turn, with a 45 degree hip turn. This is what we read in all the analysis’ of the golf swing.
Achieving the above physical components in your golf posture proves almost impossible for the senior golfer who has declining physical abilities.
Are you in this category?
Are you a 50-70 year old golfer who has lost a ton of yards off the tee and watched your scores get higher and higher?
If so, don’t you think if you did a simple, “in-home” golf performance program you’d see dramatic improvements in your body’s ability to make a bigger, even “full golf swing”?
To achieve this doesn’t mean hitting more balls at the range or taking more lessons. In fact, you can eliminate hitting balls altogether for a short time while you get your body back in tip-top shape.
When you do, the next time you go out to practice or play, you will be shocked!
That full golf swing you’ve dreamed about will happen without you even thinking about it. Your body will do it because it has been ‘trained’ properly.
A Quick Tip – you’ve got to focus on your rotational strength and flexibility to make a full golf swing! You can even do this sitting in your chair. Reach around the back of your chair and rotate your upper body, while leveraging your opposite arm against the chair. This is a simple, yet very effective rotational stretch you can do all day long.
You don’t need fancy, expensive equipment to improve your physical abilities, but a simple and effective program will do wonders for achieving your full golf swing.

Why would anybody need a golf coach for golf lessons when most of the famous golfers of old developed their game pretty much on their own? And besides, wouldn’t a golf coach take away all the fun of the game and make the whole thing too serious to call a leisure activity anymore?
These are some of the many concerns amateur golfers have whenever the idea of a golf coach is suggested to them. Genuine concerns but mostly outdated because the modern game has changed a lot and continue to change.
One of the most distinct changes witnessed in the game is the wide acceptance of golf coaches, exercises and muscle conditioning programs in a sport that has for generations been viewed as a leisure sport with no room for any sort of exercising or muscle strengthening programs.
Has your golf game been getting just a little too frustrating in recent times? Have you been suffering many more humiliating defeats than is the case ordinarily?
Then there is the increasing possibility that you are playing against people who are involved in exercise programs and have a personal golf coach who has been helping them work on improvements in their golf game.
How can you possibly compete with a golfer who has such a huge advantage over you? How can you ever hope to enjoy your game of golf the way you used to in the days when a golf coach was a strange and uncommon phrase in the game?
Probably the biggest advantage of having a golf coach is that they are able to specifically work on your weaknesses using golf specific exercise programs to strengthen the muscles that are critical for you to play a good round of golf.
A golf coach will also help you avoid some of the common but painful and disruptive injuries of the game like the golfer elbow. They will help you avoid them by getting you to warm up properly before a round of golf and do stretches that will help you tone up to tip-top condition for your game.
What’s more, is that there is no age limit in the golfers opting to get a golf coach to help them with their physicals. Even senior citizens are able to successfully implement the exercise programs into their game. In fact some have been able to get rid of nagging back injuries for good.
If you can’t afford a golf coach or do not want one, there are other ways to get training and instruction online. There are free videos and articles to help you with your training all over the net. A better golf swing is inevitable…for any golfer, with the right approach. It doesn’t matter age or ability. It’s a reality…and can happen very quickly!
To achieve a better golf swing, a golfer needs to realize just how physically demanding it is on the human body. If you swing an object (golf club) at up to 100 mph. This puts a tremendous amount of pressure on the joints, tendons, ligaments and muscles.
If these tissues of the body are weak, tight or brittle they will rupture and eliminate you from playing golf indefinitely. If it doesn’t, your performance will pay the price. The outcome either way is not what you want…but will happen without an emphasis on strengthening these areas.
Along with strengthening comes stretching. Stretching muscles to attain a better golf swing is common among most golfers. Although it is common, most golfers don’t stretch. Why? Because it is viewed as ‘work’. But if it were viewed as a form of golf improvement it would be a different story.
Swing mechanics cannot be improved if your golf specific strength and flexibility are ignored. It is an impossibility, unless you compensate for this lack of capabilities in your golf swing. Teaching pros are now starting to realize there is a definite connection between golf swing mechanics and fitness.
But that’s where the BIG gap is. Between instruction and physical fitness. This is the ultimate combination for total golf performance and I have been preaching it for several years now. When your physical capabilities are improved, your golf swing mechanics become much easier to achieve.
The next time you visit your teaching pro, to achieve a better golf swing, you’ll be able to do what he/she wants and the desired outcome will be achieved. This outcome is inevitable when you get your body moving better. Your golf swing mechanics fall into place.
It will only be a matter of time when all golfers will approach their golf improvement this way. It’s the only way that will warrant lasting results and ultimately a better golf swing.
You just need to understand that a better golf swing is not depended upon how hard you hit the ball but, how much speed you put behind it. Strength will NOT out drive the speed hitter. Perfecting your swing to become consistent with every swing then, speed will follow and thus hitting a longer drive.
Just remember that a person who has stronger upper body strength will not always out hit the golf player who has increased his speed to the ball through consistent and a proper follow through.
One other very important factor is that the long hitter will not always outdo the player who is consistent and can get the ball in the hole in less strokes. Right?

Revealed Below: The hidden secret golf “Insiders” are now using to cream their competition on the Course…..
And the best part is…
you’ll see it happen in 30 minutes. I know, right about now you’re probably thinking “Yea Right!”
There’s so much HYPE in the golf world, it’s hard to take any of these claims seriously.
Well, I don’t blame you one bit. I would have been thinking the same thing a year ago.
But what happened to me changed my thinking about what’s possible. And if you’ll follow along for a few minutes, you’ll be rewarded with a new insight into how to take your golf swing to pro levels and beyond faster than you can say “I miss Tiger”.
Well, if you’re laughing at me right now…I deserve it.
I had to learn the hard way what you already know – it ain’t that easy!
I forked out several hundred bucks to get some “Professional” advice on my swing.
After each lesson I felt like my head was spinning with everything I had to remember.
My swing would improve for about a week (I did learn some good fundamentals) … but then POOF!
The improvements were GONE and I was actually worse off because my brain was crammed full of things to think about when I’d tee up.
Most of my time on the golf course was spent feeling frustrated and embarassed.
I was sick and tired of spending money on golf only to leave the course more worked up than when I arrived. (plus, I was losing too many bets with my dad).
I was about to pack it in for good… when a one-in-a-million coincidence put me in touch with a man named Tracy Reed.
I bumped into him on the phone…
completely by accident
I didn’t even know he was into golf.
After talking with him for a few minutes on an unrelated subject…he mentioned to me how he “Taught golf in 36 countries”.
Turns out he had written a golf manual that was sending ripples through the golf world. He was selling it on the internet and golfers from all walks of life were getting amazing results.
I was curious, hopeful… and VERY skeptical when Tracy claimed he could…
Cure my slice in 15 minutes… over the phone!
I had been working hard and spending money to improve my game.
From 7 Handicap to Pro Golfer….
“I’ve worked with Tracy for years and had nothing but success. His visualization techniques are the best I have ever seen, and his ground breaking Dynamic Balance routines are something that every golfer, whether beginner or professional should use.”
Gary Brewer II, PGA Professional
In The Money…
“I have had more higher finishes with bigger paychecks in the 2 months since I worked with Tracy than I did in the previous 4 years… and the results have been almost instantaneous.”
Curtis Knight
Professional Golfer
Jacksonville Florida
Imagine getting results like these without changing your swing or paying a pro for lessons:
Up to 70 accurate yards added to drives literally overnight
Scores dropping by 5, 7, even 12 strokes in 2 DAYS
300 yard drives becoming “common”
Golfers hitting the fairway with robotic consistency
Young, old, beginners, advanced… everyone who actually did what Tracy suggested got better – FAST.
What’s amazing is these results were from beginning and advanced golfers …without taking private lessons with Tracy.
These golfers were hitting massive drives with
clockwork consistency…
Simply from reading Tracy’s “Golf Swing Control”
instruction manual!
I don’t know about you, but I’ve read a LOT of books on golf (including many great ones), but I never got results like this:
Try This System, It Works!
Do you know the 4 significant factors that affect your golf swing? Knowing what they are plus interpeting them can assist you correct your swing to start hitting straight and true. Consequently improving your golf swing.
In the game of golf, no two persons ever have the identical golf swing. Every individual has their individual personal body in the company of its individual strengths, flexiblity and range of movement. The method one individual swings a golf club might not work for another person, even if they are close to in body types. Each golfer has to find the playing style that fits them to help them produce the results that they require. Players that distinguish what is going to happen to the ball when they hit it, and what factors affect that second of impact can effectively use their body to generate the consistent strong golf swing that they desire to hit longer drives.
One item that can assist all golfers create instant and constructive improvements on their game is an understanding of the factors that influence the golf ball at the moment of impact by the golf club. Knowing what these factors are and how they affect the ball can allow you to understand what happens at the minute of impact and interpret the golf balls flight. When you identify what occurs and why, you can then make slight modifications to your swing and then perceive the effects on the next shot. The flight of the golf ball can inform you whether you were right in your individual consideration and you made a good modification towards a better golf swing. If you made a change that made the shot worse than before, all you must have to do is undo that change to your swing.
The moment of impact (ideally the golf club sweet spot hitting the ball) is a blend of four factors that can in the end determine what direction and how far the ball can travel. The golf ball can react to these factors in spite of of how they occur. The first essential feature that affects your golf swing is the angle of the clubface at the minute of impacting the ball. The position of the clubface at the second of impact is the most imperative feature influencing the initial direction and the spin of the ball. The clubface must point in the direction of the target you’ve chosen farther down the course. If the clubface is straight and perpendicular and at accurate angles to the golf ball at the moment of impact, it will travel straight down the course with no spin.
The moment factor at the instant of impact is the angle of the clubhead with relation to the golf ball. There is the horizontal angle of impact and vertical angle of impact, both of which are combined to decide the initial direction of the ball and the height of the golf balls flight pathway. The horizontal angle of impact determines the initial direction that the ball will travel. The vertical angle of impact will establish how high the ball will fly. Too low or too high and you lose distance in your shot.
Thirdly, the clubface must hit the ball on the sweet spot. The sweet spot is the section on the face of the golf club that will transfer the power of your golf swing to the golf ball. Transferring this power efficiently will take full advantage of its potential and carry the ball far and straight down the course (as long as the angle of the clubface and the club head at the split second of impact are fine).
Finally, the fourth reason that is important at the second of impact is the the club head. The speed of your golf swing can decide how much power you transmit to the golf ball and finally how far it will go when you hit it on the sweet spot. The speed or power of the golf swing is not dependent on brute force only. Other factors such as body flexibility and range of movement affect how a golfer employs those muscles in creating a fluid smooth swing.
The golf swing is not just picking up a golf club and trying to explode the ball down the course. It is a blend of many factors that if you will understand, you can influence by making modifications to your swing. Knowing what causes the golf ball to travel as it does can permit you to improve your golf swing and gain distance and accuracy on your shots. However, knowing the cause that produces an effect, and affecting that cause to create the desired effect are two different things, both of which will be learned over time and with practice. We’ll even show you how to cure your golf slice.

The Perfect Golf Swing
People who have the privilege of watching the pros at work may have an idea of what a perfect golf swing should look and feel like. The reason why some people sought after having that perfect swing is that the game they play has becoming more and more popular around the world. In addition, that game is called golf. Golf has been around for quite some time and it started out as a quiet little game that only a few people with much time on their hands.
It became one of the most popular mainstream sports in the 1980’s people back then was debating on the perfect golf swing. Up to the rise to the top of Nick Faldo, he was the man described as having a mechanical like swing. In the 1990’s people said that Faldo had the perfect swing. Before people started declaring Faldo as the undisputed king of the swing, people also mentioned Ben Hogan or Jack Nicklaus had the perfect from when hitting the ball.
Up to the present day, people who are avid fans of the sport still argue about the best swing and perfect swing in golf. Nowadays, the name Tiger Woods figure in debates all across the country. They say that because of the success Woods is enjoying in the sport, he must be swinging consistently every time. Arguably, Woods does have a regimen that helps him in his golf swing but it may be too cocky to say that Tiger Woods have developed the perfect swing.
The drive to achieve the perfect golf swing has broken and destroyed the golf games of amateurs and professionals alike. Some of them have become obsessed with the perfection of their swings that they have totally forgotten the other aspects and skill sets of the game. Some people have spent almost all of their free time watching videos, reading instructional guides and basically listening to any body that can give them tips on improving and perfecting their swings. In the 90’s, because of the mainstream success of golf and the different golfers that were in the circuit, a lot of guides, instructional materials and special classes that strictly cater to golf and the perfection of the swing.
For years some golfers couldn’t even break an egg because of the different tips and hints they have read, tried and incorporated to their game( most of the time the different tips and guides from the different materials that they have were contrasting in principle and execution. This resulted to inconsistent performance of players that eventually led to the decline of the sport) which caused frustration in many players. Because of the obsession of some of the golfers to perfect their golf swings most of them performed poorly in ranking games and tournaments. This caused a significant decline in the golfing public in the late 90’s.
Then one machine and the vision of a man changed everything and turned the world of golf around. A company that makes golf clubs to test their shafts’ strength invented a machine; it was specifically designed to recreate the swing of Byron Nelson. Nelson is said to have the best swing in the world of golf. The machine was aptly named Iron Byron, after Nelson, and it went on to test more than a thousand shafts.
Some people noticed the accuracy and the consistency of the Iron Byron and thought that if they could dissect the movement of the Iron Byron’s perfect swing then they naturally have copied the perfect golf swing of Byron Nelson.

Golf Beginners Guide
There are many criteria to selecting the golf school that is worthy of the investment, and this is not an exhaustive list. However, consider these to get you focused on what is important to you.
Key #1) Golfing style
As with any topic or subject matter to learn, golf can be played in many styles. Most of them based on your personality and skill level. Some play aggressively, others, like me, more conservatively. But ultimately you have to choose a school or instructor that matches you.
Your skills, your personality, your style.
Key #2) Problem areas
I have trouble with slicing. Consistently I find that my shots slice to the right. You, to be sure, have at least one issue with your game or specific shots. You may want to find a school to address and help correct that shortcoming. If you come back from a long weekend and your slice has vanished, you would have had time (and money) well spent.
Key #3) Instructor to class-size ratio
This is a personal preference item. Some people learn in a group setting (even craze the interaction). Others of you need the attention that a one or two person class offers. It may also depend on what you are trying to gain from the school which one you actually choose.
Key #4) Price
For some this may not be an issue. Golf is your life and no amount of money is too much if you improve your golf game, and thus your enjoyment. For others, big obstacle. If you are considering a golf school then you know that most start above $1500. There are some “big name” instructors offering half day lessons for $10,000.
You know your budget. If you are price sensitive then, by all means, do not forget to add in travel, lodging, and food costs. Many times these “incidentals” can double the overall cost.
Key #5) Proximity
What is your traveling distance? Is your schedule tight so slipping off within 100 miles for a half day lesson is all you can squeeze. Or, are you planning your school around a vacation so distance is not really an issue. One plus of keeping tabs on those schools “in your own backyard” is when these offer last-minute specials you can jump on those quickly.
Key #6) Length of training
How long can you take off from your profession to pursue your passion? Like any good consultant would answer, it depends. It depends on whether you are looking for a long weekend, a one day seminar, or wrapping a vacation around your training. This is an important factor in choosing a school so compare wisely for private golf instructions.
There are a lot of issues to consider when searching for a good golf school near you. I hope this article has helped you fulfill that quest. For free videos and tips also visit our blog at: www.golftipsinsider.com/blog
